The difference in Professional hair color and non-professional is S-I-M-P-L-Y....the 'quality' of the ingredients that you are 'allowed' to use . The way they work.... the "science" is exactly the same. There is no such thing as 'professional hair color' that is a completely 'different technique' a 'different science' than what you can purchase at your local Sally's or Beauty Supply. They lead you to believe that, but I am here to tell you that does not exist. You should be allowed to purchase the good quality products. You are already using the exact same procedures to color your hair as the Hair Colorist in your local Salon.
To me it is almost UN-AMERICAN to restrict a segment of the population from purchasing a top quality hair color because they "claim" that you must be a "professional hair stylist" in order to use it properly. A complete lie, there is not 1 teeny tiny difference in using the lousy hair color than there is using the professional hair color. The fact that they have sold an entire population on this bonkers set of rules makes me want to barf. We have to do something about this.....
